*LOL* That is too funny Lina. And I've heard similar before....classic 50s cut panties being called 'granny panties.' I don't think so! Ha ha.
You'll look beautiful on your wedding day. And I hope you share pics somewhere of your dress! ;0

This Playtex bra on me is very pointy, perfect for 50s dresses! The pic doesn't do it justice.
Also, the company Underscore in the US has some pointy/bullet type bras.
Best,

Hi ladies,
Glad everyone liked the Cameo picture posts. I find their knickers to be the most comfortable and am using a pair of mine was a pattern to make more. ;0
Lina, I really like the bra you've chosen it looks really comfortable and classic. I too haven't gambled on a Secrets in Lace...
H ladies,

I was lucky to discover them before they went belly up. Their line was amazing and they were a Canadian company! They said their old stock may end up on Ebay, but it never has (yes I watch and wait).
Edit: So strange, I check Ebay often for their products and there are never any...
Hi Lina,
I can relate. I have four WKD bras, two fit perfectly in my size the other two are way to small (and yet the same size). Not much consistency in bra styles I guess. However, I do love the two I have that fit correctly.
Have you tried the bullet/vintage bras from Secrets in...
It definitely depends on the day! Always my wedding band, usually a vintage necklace, pearls, bakelite bangles, a novelty vintage pin on my dress/sweater. Oh and earrings of course, often pearls or bakelite hoops. It really depends on the outfit! Of course, always some flower or jewelled vintage...
Hi Ladies,
I'm not sure if this has been mentioned, but I use Dryel at home for my vintage clothes. As dry-cleaning everything is WAY too expensive. Dryel has worked really well on my items and nothing has been damaged. I've done items from the 40s, 50s, all sorts of different materials - even...

Hi Marla,
I found the same item on Etsy and the seller says it tested positive for bakelite:

So, who knows! I'll test mine again when I get a chance. Either way, I love it!
