Think about removing the liner and having vent holes put in whatever hat you decide on. My summers get pretty hot here in Colorado and I’ve found that has worked for me. Just a thought

I received my Fed IV Deluxe Heritage from HD last month. I also have a Camp Draft Heritage from them. I really think the Heritage quality is worth paying a few extra bucks for. Not only for the fur quality but especially for the nicer sweat. JMO.

Thoughts on dating this Stetson. Not OR, Has 3” bound brim, cattleman crease about same crown height as my 50’s OR. Union symbol on back of size tag. Originally had feathers in the 3 ply ribbon band.

You are correct. I have a traditional cattleman on my Stetson circa 50’s OR and have had it on my Camp Draft. Just wondering how it would look on a Fed IV since it has a different crown shape, before I start working on it ‍♂️ Thanks.

Has anyone put a cattleman bash on a Fed IV? If so would you post a picture. Just received my Fed IV Deluxe and wrestling with which bash to use. Considering a modified cattleman. Any thoughts welcome.

Just curious if you found your jacket. Wondering if you ever looked at Gibson & Barnes in El Cajon, CA. I have several of their A-2 jackets in different leathers and colors, bought back when they were under the name of Fight Suits inc.. Great choices and well made. IMO
