The Highwayman will be warmer than the A-2 in almost every case because they are often lined with wool of varying weights and often made with heavier hides. A Highwayman lined in cotton drill with no storm cuffs will probably be similar in warmth to an A-2.
@JonS1967 and @rogueclimber, I just wanted to say that I am not trying to pick a fight with you guys or say that there is no merit to your idea. I guess I just like the organic, meandering flow of the lounge and so I resist suggestions that would make it more logical or user friendly.

It was probably an Imperial. They had a G-1 Contract in the mid 1970’s and they are infamous for making one of the worst G-1 jackets ever. Apparently it was real cowhide, but with such a thick plasticky coating that one could be forgiven for thinking it was 100% plastic.
