  • Hi Carlos,

I wanted to get your advice on the fit of the aero cafe racer as yours fits very well. I'm 5' 10", 160 pounds 40" chest, 33" waist. The racer is 21.75 p2p and a waist of 18.5. I'm concerned that the drop is a bit much, particularly with jeans and a belt on and that 18.5" for the waist would be tight (I measure a waist of 35" with belt and jeans). Appreciate your time!

I don't see how 18.5" waist will fit your 35", that's not mathematically possible. My waist is 33", maybe 34" above nelt and jeans and i couldn'close a jacket with 18.5" bottom hem.
I guesss you should ask them to taper out the bottom hem. Maybe a 40 chest going to a 42 bottom hem.
    Hello Carlos,

I sow that you have b2 LW, as I'm searching for one, would be great if you can keep me posted if you wanna sell!

    Best Regards

Hello Carlos I registered on this forum because I saw you are selling a San Mateo jacket.
I live in Swiss and I tried the size 42 today and I believe it fits.

I'm therefore interested into your jacket.

Does the price has margin ?

    Thanks
    Alessandro
Hi Carlos. Would a LaBrea 44 would fit you okay? My concern is shoulder width; LaBrea 42 is 51cm/20", a 44 is 53cm/20.8". I'm 5'11", 178lb, 42" chest. People say to size up in FW 1 or 2 sizes yet your 42 LaBrea fits you and the 42 San Mateo doesn't, so It get's confusing. I'd appreciate any advice you could provide. Mirror Ball has LaBrea 44 in stock. Thanks, Mike

The only other jacket I'm considering is a Lost Worlds. Maybe a Speed Demon, Leathertogs or J-23... Are you happy with the 3.5oz leather on your Lost Worlds? I don't want super thick leather that is too much for everyday wear.

It is very nice leather, IMO just the right thickness, and the great pattern makes it move with you and feel much lighter than it really is. Unless you have a thing for super thick leather i would not go thicker.
    Hello,
