It's khaki with purple ribbon, thin and a bit stiff rabbit felt.

No brand on the lining nor sweatband

Snow removal in the windy cool conditions had me wearing a Stormy Kromer under an insulated hood. After the efforts I switched out of my damp clothes to some wool. I shoveled walks in a Donegeal tweed, wool pants, scarf and a Filson Mackinaw.

Winter didn't bother with Ireland this year. Saved a couple of Grand but sure something else greasy palmed. You look great man. K

Out doing a little more snow shoveling this morning in what will be my last hat with a brim for the next few days.

It was close to 30 degrees and calm when I started shoveling and around 15 degrees with a wind gusting to 28 mph by the time I finished.

And this morning's outerwear will become my base layer for the next few days as we plumb for record lows.

Yeh I dunno, just to annoy it went and got cold today. Climate change though yup, no brainier at this stage. Daffodils on Christmas day, nature's stupidest plant. We'll still use every drop of oil. The human race is quick. You look great man.
