Tony Bennett: Duets II
saw the film on PBS Great Performances last night, purchased the album. Some huge surprises in this one, Lady Gaga is a great singer of the great american songbook, she does a great "The Lady Is A Tramp" could give Ella a run for her money and it was obvious that she and Bennett were enjoying one another. Based on that I wouldn't mind hearing a full album of her doing the classics by Porter, Basie, etc. with Nelson Riddle style orchestration. Other high points are Queen Latifah, Michael Buble, Faith Hill, Sheryl Crow and Norah Jones.
