That is one wide brim, Brent. Love the crown height, too.
Thanks, Steve. It’s a favorite and my always think of Rick when I wear it.

Great looking Western, Mark. Wonderful scarf! One from the Colorado Mountain Hat Company, that I believe I acquired from a vendor at the 5 Dogs State Championship Match in 2005.

Thanks, Steve. That's another one of my vices. I must have at LEAST 30 wild rags that I use in my cowboy shooting costuming.Great looking Western, Mark. Wonderful scarf!
I wouldn't call that one a wild rag, but now I understand and appreciate why you mention my scarves. Thanks, Steve. That's another one of my vices. I must have at LEAST 30 wild rags that I use in my cowboy shooting costuming.
Here is me in one of my Open Roads. Don’t really smoke a pipe. Just used it to pose for the pic. I have another more vintage one. It’s the 4X beaver felt. This one is the newer 6X one. Not sure if it has any beaver in it. This one looks ok from the side like this but straight on the crown is way too narrow and looks weird so I hardly every wear it.

Terrible name but I loved the colour.Burns Saddlery that was completely rebuilt by Wolfbrae Custom Hatters aka @belfastboy
The felt color is called “dirt” and it’s a favorite.
