As do I. People usually chuckle when they ask "How are you?" and I answer "Just swell!"

I like to use "swell!" whenever possible.

Did you see the I Love Lucy episode where the elocution teacher warns Lucy and Ethel of 2 words they must never use? One of them is swell and the other is lousy.

They are avid to know what the 2 words are so they don't use them by mistake. As Lucy says, "that would be a swell way to get off to a lousy start".
