Cinetex - Old Harris Tweed

2 very nice old Harris Tweed jackets, one quite big, from the Cinetex guys in Germany.

Large. Would be a good idea to ask for a picture of the Harris Tweed label to ensure correct age:

Is that the pre-1937 label?

No, it's used up into the 50s in British stuff. It is the standard Harris Tweed Authority label though, and not one of the huge array of variants that existed in earlier Orb years.

The labels with the 1937 patent (?) date are, so far as I know, unique to the United States.

yes I saw those - 17" shoulders on a 46 chest jacket!!

I have an old Harris tweed jacket in what appears to be the same fabric as the second one above. It is extremely heavy, densely woven wool.

Yes that greeny Lovat-ish fabric is very popular, especially so back in the day.
