I picked up this one on ebay for not too much. I'm very satisfied with the quality. The leather is thick and heavy, which I could tell by the way it draped in the photos, and the stitching is neat and well done. Seems to be built on the same pattern as Levi's, basically a direct copy. The lining is polyester.

The label is German, and reads:

I tried googling Eghaus-Pak Industries, but found nothing at all -- very odd. I assume that the jacket was made in Pakistan for a German market. Although a lot of leather made in Pakistan is cheap and not very good quality, I've been impressed by certain exceptions to the rule. Not Aero quality, but still very good and for the $135 I paid, a great bargain. I watched a genuine Levi's go for more than $700 a week earlier.

These photos are from the seller's listing, and the leather is a darker brown in person than it appears here:

The buttons had quite a bit of built-up coppery green wax on them, which I had to wipe off so it wouldn't stain my shirt. My assumption is the leather has a waxy finish, which rubs off on the buttons and oxidized them. I wonder if anyone might recognize the design on the buttons.

GAP used to make one like this but in black. They'll often come up for less than £100 on eBay - and sometimes more of course.

I had one made in Germany trucker jacket. It was outstanding but at XL, too large for me. I know the manufacturer was supposedly someone good and the jacket wasn't cheap at all. Like, a few hundred Euros.

That's sharp, appears to be very good quality (at least) and the leather itself is thick and looks very comfortable. Hope it works out well for you, at that price how could you go wrong?

I'm always on the outlook for Trucker style jackets like this. Nice one. I've bought a couple, just didn't have the fit. seen others that looked great but too small. The Leather does look substantial.

I'd love to find a decent quality leather trucker jacket. But inevitably all the ones I've found the arms are always too short. Probably just a matter of time before Gustin comes out with their version of the leather trucker.

To be honest, I'm not sure what defines a Trucker's Leather but if you are of a larger size you might find this e-bay sale, a real bargain.
I don't know why they're called trucker jackets, we just used to call them jean jackets when I was a kid. But I guess calling it a leather jean jacket wouldn't make any sense.

I got my 1970 tan trucker jacket from Etsy TMitchell's store and I am just in love with it from the smell to how well it has stayed nice for 46 years. I condition it with Leather Honey a all natural leather product invented by a PA scientist in the 1960's.

I got one in impeccable condition that is 46 years old if you are interested and I agree the sleeves are short , but the zipper sinches it nice and tight that it feels great. I don't like when the sleeves come down to your thumb.
