Sure, I can answer that. It was a custom order through Thurston Brothers in Seattle. I had A-1 pockets put on it instead of the standard Aeromarine pockets. I think it looks better. If you order through Thurston, they can have certain aspects of the jacket customized.

If you like the tartan, there are probably other options other than flannel. Although, I'm not sure if they will be much better for not making you too warm. I know that BK offers various tartans. I wish I would have done that in the first place. I'm sure Andy could help you.

It's a lightweight jacket. Perfect for a summer jacket. I was actually surprised how light it was. I don't think I would go with flannel if you want a summer jacket. It will be too warm depending on what your summers are like.
