Young`s Hats NYC

Hi,
I just purchased a Stetson derby on ebay and the hat is stamped with the Young's logo .
It also came with the original Young's hat box.
Also curious I found some info. on Young's in New York and they were the largest hat retailers in the world in the 1930's.

Well today my vintage Stetson derby arrived.
Originally sold by Young's of New York.
To me it's a beauty and a perfect fit to boot!!!
Here are some pictures I took of it as soon as I got home from work and opened the box.
It looks almost new

Oh yeah,here's the original Young's hat box it came in
I was so excited with the hat I forgot about the box.
The hat box is in pretty good shape for it's age?

Very nice! If you can safely (without damaging the stitching) photograph the LOTXXXX stamp on the back of the sweatband (large size four digit number, usually toward the front of the hat) you could add it to this thread.

It's not always readable. It would look like this - generally stamped on the back of the sweatband at the front of the hat.
