Hello there people, I was wondering on y’all’s opinion on this jacket I bought. I bought it because I’ve always wanted this jacket. But something keeps nagging me about it. Sometimes when I ware it it fells great but then sometimes it tells big. I’ve only had it a few months and maybe because it’s not broken it ye. What do y’all think?

looks fine. How often will you wear with layers vs. thinner clothe? don't think you could go down a size in any case unless there's an action back or gussets to allow for more movement.
I don’t really layer too much, I wear it mostly with a basic t shirt. And yes it does have the back for movement. Here are two pictures with a t shirt and zipped up

that is close to perfect as you can get. Personally I don't like action back because it tends to create a weird silhouette from the side. i don't ride so I don't need the extra flexibility. I totally get why someone who rides would want it though. But it actually looks pretty good on you.

Never owned a Y2 jacket. I've seen some amazing shots on IG though. Probably need a good 50 wears to start getting it going. I posted this pic on another thread. It's an Aero CXL FQHH. The jacket could stand up by itself when I first got it. Now it is amazingly soft and broken in. Took about 1 year and half, but that's with me wearing many other jackets too. So if you wear a jacket consistently every day, I'm sure in one or two months you will notice big difference.

Dude the fit is spot on perfect. Now you need the wear the sh** out of it and have it mold to you. Basically horsehide doesn’t drape so after it is broken in it feel much better and you will have a consistent feel of how it wears. I had that with my rmc J100 it now feel like it was tailored to me.
Also, wear it in the rain
