Hi there,
After much self-reflection and inspired by recent comments in treads about the number of jackets in a personal collection, I have decided, not without much emotional pain, to let go of my most priced leather possession, a beautiful Real McCoy's New Zealand A2 Rough Wear model in sz.40 in amazing horse hide brown leather.
I'm the second owner of this jacket that dates from the early nineties.
The leather is strong but supple and very nice to wear with great drape, nice sleeve creases and a little color fading in some areas that gives the jacket a nice patina and personality, but there's no damage to the leather at all.
Wool knits are top quality and in great condition.
The attention to details in this jacket is awesome.
I have an Aero M422a in oil pull HH and Eastman HH A2 and can confidently say that this jacket is superior to both in materials and construction from my knowledge.
The reason why I'd like to trade is that I have too many brown military style leathers and I'd like to get something different in black of good quality but I don't have the funds for it right now.
Besides, it's summer in Oz so I can't really justify another leather jacket...
So, if you like the jacket and have something not military, preferably black you'd like to trade for it of similar quality and of a known manufacturer (ie. - Real McCoy, Aero, Lost Worlds, Good Wear, Thedi...) please let me know.
Preferred models are slim fitting ones like the Premier fit Aero 30's and Shawl collared ones, but feel free to ask.
I live in Australia so shipping costs will have to be considered.
Alternatively, I am open to reasonable offers before it goes to eBay.
Thanks
Fonzie.
