My kid sister is looking for a hat and I'm trying to keep her from buying a wool job.

Would be awesome to find her an old Last drop 3X or a nutria quality - Something with an unbound brim around 3"

This was the inspiration photo she sent me, but she would be happy with a silverbelly as well.

Bob @BobHufford had a size 7 Shudde Bros listed a few weeks back that might be worth a look if he still has it.

Thanks for the shout out Randy. Yep ... still have the three hats in the Classifieds. I haven't gone to the 'Bay with them as we are sheltering in place. I could probably sneak past the Post Office on an essential grocery run if needed.

The Spanish trail could work. Can you let me know the brim width and front to front back to back sweatband dimensions?

She said ‘more cowboy, less fedora’ when I showed her a picture of an OR. I love this gal

Justin,

I’m getting these results on the Spanish Trail.

7-5/8” x 6-5/8” measured from reed to reed. Allowing for the thickness of the sweatband would result in 7-3/8” x 6-3/8”. Pretty much a size 7 and not 7-1/8.

Thanks for your interest!

Bob
