Gents,
I'm looking to buy a new (to me) suit. Maybe one of you has a suit that no longer fits, or you don't wear anymore? This is what I'm looking for:
1930s or 1940s (early '50s if it has an earlier style or cut)
Fabric, color, and pattern are not an issue--not looking for anything specific
Single or double breasted
--2 or 3 button for single, 4x6 for double
3 piece for single, 3 piece for double preferred but not required
--Vest must have 4 pockets
Notch or peak lapels for single
Pleated trousers with cuffs
General measurements:
Jacket underarm to underarm 19"-20"
Sleeve length 24"
Back from bottom of collar ~29"
Trouser waist ~30" (15" laid flat)
Inseam ~30"
I can alter inseam, trouser waist, and sleeve length but would prefer to not have to alter the jacket beyond the sleeves. I can repair worn linings and some wear in the fabric depending on where it is.
