I’m looking for a type 3 trucker. Indigo or black (prefer indigo or OD). Size 42 or 44 would work. 21 or 23oz. Lined or unlined. Been eyeing them on SE & IH, but wanted to try here first.

I’m tempted by the 23oz OD jacket from SE in 44. Just looks spectacular!

Man I have barely taken it off. It’s like a massively thick denim blanket. The best I’ve had from IH by a country mile. Worth it.

Agree with Ton, best IH jacket I’ve owned.

I think I’m gonna pull the trigger on it. I’ve currently got my IH first zip & 3sixteen soaking right now. Trying to thicken & crease them up.

Do that to the 23 too. I swear it became 30oz post soak. It creaks like a leather jacket too.

Nice! How hard would it be to have a wool liner put in one? Who would you trust to do that?

I considered that same thing with the 23. Was going to do a vintage poncho but the fit wouldn’t allow it. I’d trust Alan at JL. Nobody else.

Should I consider going to a 46 to add a lining? Again SE measures a 46 at having 19” shoulders, 23.5 pit, and 28” ape sleeves! On my leather jacket 19” shoulders are fairly tight.

I’d give the 44” a shot first. One thing I’ve noticed with IH, the lengths go up in the size range far more than the widths. The body and sleeve on the 46” will be quite long if your my height (5’11”).

Thanks Ton. I’ll try the 44” I’m only 5’10” roughly 195lbs. Usually I wear a 32” waist but that has become a little tight lately lol. I need to get back in the gym! Maybe after the holidays.
