Wow - Men's 30s suit with a 48" Chest!

Hey guys,

I never come around anymore, and I've never made a post like this - but I thought someone might like to know that I'd just acquired a 48" Chest 38" Waist late 30's double-breasted navy pinstripe suit! (Wow, that's a mouthful.) I think it may be home tailored!

It is so estate fresh I haven't even had it twelve hours - but it is already photographed and on the 'bay. Item 290243688950

I would love it if an FL'r won it... my fiancee is already bummed about the fact that the trousers would fit him, but the jacket would be too large. Would kinda like to "keep it in the family" so to speak!

$249. It was a little spendy to pick up (which is why a local dealer carelessly tossed it back on the rack) but what was I going to do? Leave it there?

This guy had terrific taste - was obviously well dressed (high ranking in the Longshoreman's Union, by-the-by), but not all items in the house were as carefully stored. I've got a marked 1930s white tux jacket headed for the cleaners and a couple other things - not sure if they are salvagable or not. This suit must have been kept with the women's clothes, they are in similarly terrific condition.
