I recently obtained this wonderful Mallory fedora. It is a beautiful thin ribboned hat. It appears to have never been worn.
It is in immaculate condition for a vintage hat. The problem for me is this,
I also picked-up a vintage Portis hat with a thin ribbon and larger brim 2 1/2".
The sweatband is embossed in gold lettering with the following:"Mallory Durafeldt" Processed, with the word PREMIER underneath. On the opposite side of the sweatband it reads Wieboldt's Evansville-Chicago-Oak Point.
I personally feel the Portis, with the wider brim suits me better. So, I'd like to offer this Mallory in trade or sale, or any combination there-of, for a similar condition vintage hat with a brim of at least 2 1/2". I'm not exactly sure of what I'm looking for. I'm not in any rush. It's not going to be traded to the first person who makes an offer. I would like to make a fair trade, something of equal value and condition, whatever that might be, in a size 7 1/4. :)

PM WITH ANY INTEREST, INCLUDE SOME PICTURES AND DIMENSIONS ETC.

SIZE: 7 1/4
COLOR: PEWTER GRAY
BRIM: 2 1/4"
THIN GRAY1/4" RIBBON
MATCHING GRAY BOUND BRIM RIBBON
WIND CORD.
CROWN: 4 1/2"
SWEATBAND: 1 1/2"

The hat is still available for trade. I would like to trade it for something in a size 7 1/4 and in similar condition. If you are interested in trading PM me with pictures and details. This is like new Mallory with a thin ribbon in the Stratoliner style. Thanks
