I bought a black Andrew Marc Sheepskin jacket probably 10 years or so ago.
(I know, fashion jacket yadda yadda yadda; but it's really well made and beautifully styled, and very heavy)
Anyway, I've worn it pretty much constantly every winter I've owned it.
The body and sleeves have taken on a nice polished patina.
However, the collar has gotten dull from constant rubbing and sweat from my neck. I applied a high quality beeswax containing leather conditioner to it thinking I could buff back the shine when it sunk in. All that happened is that some of the black came off from the buffing.
Is there anything I can do to restore the luster of the leather in this area?
Thanks all.
Lenny
