Looks good, a nice fit, is it Cordovan colour? I have one in cordovan with a Harris tweed lining that is about a year old.

It is the standard brown FQHH. Lining is a nice dark-olive green cotton that matches the leather perfectly.

I can see why the Highwayman is so highly regarded and often, a first buy. Looks great, but you don't look too excited!

Looks great. For some reason, many here don't smile in their pics. Youda thunk we'd all be punch-happy! But then, maybe it's the anticipation of getting a negative comment? Or a cultural thing?

I was sure this was to come :)

Well, I always look "unexcited" when beeing pictured (normally it's me standing behind the camera - conventional film based photography with a darkroom of my own ...) and (!) the photos were taken after a long day b e f o r e we had dinner.

Hope this blind excuse works :)

great looking jacket! fits you perfectly and seems well broken in - you look very comfortable (even minus the smile)!

it looks slightly longer than most other highwayman's i've seen here. did you customize it with a longer length?

Yes, I had it customized, mainly the length of the body and the sleeves because I layer it with a sweater or a fleece-jacket in colder days of autumn or springtime. So body and arms won't get too short and the jacket itself still offers enough room to move in a comfortable way.

Kind regards,

Johannes

That's a great fitting Highwayman. The extra length helps take away the 'boxiness' of the cut. Make sure you update at the 1 year mark and beyond.
