Women's leather jackets

Call me Corporal Clinger, but I've said it before and I'll say it again...it's more fun to eye shop for the girlfriend than for my own self. It seems that men's style and quality just crashed to disposable levels in the 80s onwards while women at least kept the cool floral patterns, occasional quality pieces, and whatnot going.

Certainly much easier, and therefore cheaper, to repop women's stuff as well. (It's only more hassle and expense for them in the underwear department.) A lot of it too has to do with the fact that men are so herd-minded these days, so afraid of stnading out or being considered "gay" or such if they show too much of an interest in clothes. Fragile masculinity strikes again.

Here's an ill-fitting jacket, could be Schott with the belt mounted too high and the roomy waist, but I don't know.

Is that recent?? Shit, Kristen still hasn't gotten out of Joan Jett role, it would appear. . . Though I dig her "style". At least it isn't as fake looking as the rest. I mean, that hair style is genuinely ratty. The green coat under the jacket is cool.

Relevant to the subject matter, bought this RRL for gf a few days ago. If it was M, I swear I'd wear it.

This is a seriously impressive jacket. It looks crazy nice, fits even better but what I'm most impressed with is the leather, which is like 2.5 - 3 oz. Heavier than some of my jackets.

Ralph Lauren gear can be really pricey but often you get what you pay for.
