WiDEBRIM'S TIES FOR 2014: Third Batch

Okay, pals, here's the third batch for 2014. Unless otherwise indicated, all neckties are in at least very good condition; shipping is not included. Let's start off with specimens from the aviary...



(l to r) Starting off, we have a beautiful necktie labeled "Pheasant" on the back of the front blade, and made by the famous Hollyvogue of California. It features a blueish-gray background, with graphics of white, yellow, and red. The tie measures 52" by 41/4, and feels like rayon. ($9)

Next up is a turkey-themed tie from the well-known company of Wembley. It has a deep champagne/ginger ale background, with duck brocade, and graphics of brown, white, and light orange. Tie feels like rayon/acetate, and measures 52" by 4". ($7)

Last we have a wonderful flock of birds tie from True Silk ("Custom Made"). It has a medium-shade brown background, with a sort of fan plant brocade, and features graphics of orange, dark brown, and off-white. In very good+ condition, tie feels like rayon acetate, and measures 49" by 41/2. ($8)

Alright, three more lined ties for your consideration:




(l to r) Starting off, we have a beautiful example of a hand-painted winter scene, in excellent condition, offered by Towncraft DeLuxe (labeled "Individually Hand Painted" on the back of the front blade). It features a lovely snow setting, showcasing a family of deer. Colors include scarlet, blue, cream, yellow, and orange. Measures 50" by 4", feels like rayon/acetate. ($10)

Next is the first of two equestrian-themed neckties, this one from Haband, and featuring the dynamics of horse, man, and dogs in a fox hunt...Tie is basically dark brown and light sand in color, and feels like rayon/acetate. Measurements are 52" by 3 1/2. ($8)

Last is a tie which features a great action shot, that of jockeys and horses rounding the bend in a forest setting. Tie feels like rayon, has no labels, and contains a variety of vibrant colors. Measures 48" by 4". ($9)

And here is the last group for this batch, all lined:



(l to r) First off is a Bold Look version of Op-Art, from Esquire Cravats ("The Tie of Distinction"). It has a copper-ish brown background, with motifs of red, light yellow, and cream. Measures 52" by 4", and feels like rayon. ($7)

Next up is a tie from Pilgrim which appears never to have been worn (still has its Drapestitch Construction paper tag hanging onto the label). It features a beautiful deep-maroon background, with a vibrant motif of gray, orange, yellow, light lobster, and charcoal. The tie is made of rayon, and measures 49" by 3 1/2". ($8)

The last is a lovely knot-planned, brocaded tie featuring a lady with fan and coach theme. It has a cream background, with graphics in light copper and brown; knot-planned part of blade is orange. Feels like rayon, and measures 52" by 3 3/4". ($9)
