Okay, time to thin out the collection some more...All ties, unless otherwise indicated, are in at least very good condition. Prices do not include shipping (which I keep at the lowest cost possible). All are lined. Here we go with the first group:

(l to r) First off we have beautiful, hand tailored tie from Normandy. It features a deep blue background, with brocade, and a bold motif of red, cream, red, light purple, and light tan. 52" by 4", feels like rayon/acetate. ($7)

Next is a geometric motif, Regal tie, originally sold by Burch Willis of Pontiac, ILL. The reverse of the front blade has the words "Hi-Lights" in deco-ish letters (see insert). It has a dark blue background, with brocade, and has a design of gold, silver, and gray. 54" by 4", feels like rayon. ($7)

Lastly is a lovely, leaf-patterned tie in excellent condition, with a label that states, "Individually Cut Styled Panels Windsor Style," and features a hand holding a pair of scissors (very unique). The tie features a gray background, with brocade, and motifs of red, cream, black, and light tan. Feels like a very soft rayon, and measures 50" by 41/4. ($7)

Here comes the second group:

(l to r) First is a beautiful, deep maroon, brocaded tie, with motifs of maroon, tan, and cream. Feels like rayon/acetate, measures 51" by 3"; lined, no labels. ($7)

In the middle is a late '30s/early '40s tie with a deep olive/brown background, and motifs of olive/brown, cream, and red. Unlined, with no labels, the tie measures 48" by 3"; possibly silk. ($6)

Lastly is a colorful, always popular parrot-themed tie from Signet, and originally sold by the Broadway in S. California. Featuring a "champagne" background, it graphics include brown, orange, cream, and light yellow. Except for a light blemish at the bottom of the front blade, the tie is in very good condition. Lined, it measures 52" by 4"; feels like rayon. ($8)

The last three of this batch:

(l to r) First off is a beautiful, deep red tie from Esquire (label says "Correct with Esquire") originally sold by Silverwoods of Woburn, MA. Motif is red, gray, and yellow, and tie feels like rayon or rayon/acetate. Lined, it measures 53" by 33/4", and has a brocade background. ($7)

Second is a sharp hand-painted tie featuring a joined-rings motif. Colors include rust, yellow, cream, and steel, and tie feels like acetate. Measures 51" by 4". ($9)

And the last is a lovely butterfly-themed tie from Signet, and originally sold by Carson Pirie Scott and Co.-The Men's Store . It features a grayish-blue background, with butterflies of scarlet, yellow, and cream, and has a brocade. Lined, the tie measures 47" by 4", and is rayon. Back of front blade is missing a bit of material (see photo insert), but this in no way interferes with wearing it, nor is the thread on the front blade affected in any way. A nifty tie despite the latter. ($5)
