Hello all!
I recently received a NOS Adams Porkpie from Jhonnyphi. I love the look of a porkpie hat, but in this case I think that my face is a little too long to pull it off. My wife however has completely fallen in love with it and wants it for her very own. In order to keep domestic tranquility, we have decided to put it up to a vote. I ask you Gentlemen and Ladies to participate in the poll above give us your honest and cultured opinion, Who gets the Hat?

Hello, its Simon(e) Cowell here. I've seen plenty of hats on the guys here, I give this hat a 10, BUT in my very biased opinion (IMVBO)-- the missus gets the hat !

MahogonnyBill, I'd like to see you on a lovely panama or vintage stetson fedora. Keep the eyeglasses, they look very sharp on you, adding a nice sense of pizzazz to your look.

You have to "Balance" your decision

It boils down to two things, and you decide which is most important:

1. Balance. Your face (with beard) and body shape demand a wider (much) brim and a much taller crown. The hat should balance your general appearance. The hat shown looks (on you) like a little kids hat.

2. Wife. They win, they are happy. Nexus, you are happy. Long term happy marriage. No brainer.

If my wife showed even the slightest interest in hats, I give it to her. No matter what the hat was! And then I'd use that as an opportunity to buy another one just for me.

And btw, she looks good in that hat.
