I, too, recall seeing it quite some time ago. Couple-three years or more, I think.
Things like this leave me a bit torn. Part of me thinks that if a person can get someone to pay that kinda money for what is really just an all but worn-out hat, good for him. But then, I wouldn't want to be the sort of person who makes a living by peddling what is really just an all but worn-out hat for such a ridiculous price.
Let's put it this way: I'm shedding no tears for the would-be seller because he hasn't found a buyer.
And this guy is also one of those sellers who doesn't even know how to figure out the size of a hat. Gee maybe i should put a rattlesnake skin and rattle on my mint Whippet since it's a Royal Stetson and is mint condition surely it's worth at least $1,000!
Sadly if he put it on ebay he just might find a buyer at his price...
