Seeing that Cone Mills shut down, I stocked up on several pairs of Brave Star jeans the past few months. Standard 36" length.
I'm wanting to hem one for a different look so I don't have to cuff them all. But I'm hesitant because Cone denim is no more, so if I regret my choice, I can't get more. Which would you hem?
13.5 oz "standard" denim
13.75 oz "multi warp" (worn every day since January, fades and creases forming
15oz "has a loose slubby weave with a prominent 'cross hatch' aesthetic on the face. This fabric has a softer hand due to the long staple cotton and is probably one of the most comfortable raw denims we've had the pleasure of breaking in over the last few years. The indigo color is quite intense with a dark, saturated warp yarn and an all natural white weft."
15.75oz "with a saturated green cast indigo and a tight slub yarn on the face, this selvage will age and fade like no other."
Anyway, no idea which is the best to cut. Any ideas?
