Where's Jimmy?

I don't know that this better belongs in the Hats Forum or the Observation Bar, but I figured I'd put it here because this is where I'm likelier to find someone with the info I'm seeking.

Where is Jimmy the Lid? His last post was in May of this year, when he announced that he wouldn't be making it to this year's Fedora Fest.

He had something in excess of 5,000 posts here since he joined in 2005, and then, poof! We have others who are very active members and then disappear for lengthy stretches only to return again (Marc Chevalier, most notably). But when months and months go by and I don't hear from a guy who had been a regular contributor, I start to worry.

It is good to see some dear concerns come from fellow loungers, with all the problems with hurricanes and shootings and weirdo things that take place, makes one wonder if someone has had some sad fate come to them?

I have noticed and worried about the list of names already mentioned and add one to it, what has happened to Cheif? I know he has had his issues with a heart condition?????

On one of the web forums that I frequent "send private message" will kick - in every time a subscriber logs in and on another, it

happens whether they are signed in or not.
