What's the best eye shadow for pinup pix?

I'm a photographer in NYC who does retro glamour photography. I also do the hair and makeup as well as styling for my work. Usually I'll work with the cosmetics that the model brings. But I'm thinking maybe I should get together my own set of warpaint. Since my work is in Black & white I'm wondering which brand/shade would work best.

I myself use MAC's shroom shadow for all sorts of highlights on my face, it's fabulously good.

Take a look at Kevin Aucoin's book "Making Faces". He's got a lot of ideas in there for doing vintage makeup, and I don't really think there's anything specific to vintage makeup that makes it different for photography than any other kind of style.
