In our house there is only one kind of chili, Texas style made from beef. What type of beef is the difference - hamburger usually, but stew meat works if I find it on sale.

Homemade, yes, but sadly no bacon. I had already finished dinner and was just biting into the sandwich when I thought to myself "Hm, bacon would taste good in this".

The kind with hamburger meat and beans. Cheap and easy.

I'm personally not so big a fan of chili with beans, but I have a mess o'kids to feed. So at 69¢ a can for beans vs. $5+ per pound of meat......
