Tonight - homemade kovbasa, sauteed portobello mushrooms, roasted Brussels sprouts, buttered noodles, and vodka/grapefruit cocktails.

Went to the German Christmas Market in downtown Chicago tonight with my family (picked my dad up a nice beer glass for his birthday), and I dined on Weisswurst (a white colored veal sausage) with a pretzel, and had candied caramel cashews for dessert.

Weisswurst ist fantastich. Haven't had any since last trip to Munich.

Last night was good ol' Campbell's chicken noodle, saltines, and ginger ale. 2/3 of our household has a yucky virus (fever, barfing, etc.), so it was the kindest thing for their tummies. Desperately trying to not get sick. How much hand washing is too much? (I swear, I'm scrubbing about 50x/day!!)
