What to do, what to do

I have a decision to make. Thankfully it's nothing serious, it might actually be kind of fun.

I picked up a pair of baby blue NOS 1950s Hollywood trousers in my size. Tags still attached, unhemmed.

The historian in me wants to keep them as is for the sake of preserving history. But the enthusiast side of me wants to represent style by hemming and wearing them. At the moment I'm leaning toward my enthusiast side.

Am I wrong to hem and wear these trousers?

This jear i found 2 pairs of unhemed deadstock 40s Trousers, i hemed them and wear it . Preserving for whom ?

Hem and wear. Most of this stuff has no real historical value, they're just relics of a style that's past and not easily available these days. They're clothes. They're made to be worn. I wouldn't do anything radical to them, but hemming and wearing? That's the whole point!
