„So-thick-it-makes-you-giggle“- Horween navy blue steerhide on this Johnson Leather Barneveld. The color on this is literally impossible to catch on camera, it has shades of blue, green and grey. Think the ocean on a cloudy day.

Man both those jackets fit as if custom made. That’s how you work the classifieds like a boss. Well done! Why would I triple-post, when instead, I can also post this second Johnson Leather jacket I received today?

How hard is it to put D rings? My PHWM has the normal buckle, and I regret not asking for the D Rings... It is a mod I'd like to do down the lineBrown Highwayman. Recently had zip replaced and D-rings put in. Along with the Café Racer, this one has seen the most wear and has been all over the world:
That is just awesome. That jacket calls for some outdoor fit pics in good weather, see if you can capture the color. Outdoor flash might help. Why would I triple-post, when instead, I can also post this second Johnson Leather jacket I received today?

Is it because the sleeves always get caught? If so, I just reversed looped the cinching tab. Not D rings but the buckle also doesn't catch and scratch the sleeves. How hard is it to put D rings? Nice jacket and fantastic boots. What make are the boots?Denim demon day - a Lee Archives jacket, a repro of a jacket from 1946 or thereabouts (see, levi’s wasn’t first with this design).

A bit in matador territory, but my favourite jacket that I wear almost daily as soon as the weather allows.
Thank you! Those are Keystone Biker Boots, originally in some sort of ’natural’ colour but dyed black by me.Nice jacket and fantastic boots. What make are the boots?
Not difficult, just costly. I think it was 50 or 60 GBP. I much prefer the D-rings, too. They replaced sliders which didn't stay in place. I liked them, aesthetically, but I couldn't tighten the jacket in winter when I travelled to colder places. How hard is it to put D rings? That is a cool solution... I think the D ring kinda look better rough... What you think? Is it because the sleeves always get caught? If so, I just reversed looped the cinching tab. Not D rings but the buckle also doesn't catch and scratch the sleeves.
