That is a beautiful jacket. Which model is it?

On the off chance that anybody is interested, this model of Superdry jacket has now pitched up in clearance on their website.

Only in a Medium though, which is what mine is and you've seen how mine fits me on my 39" chest.

Johnson leathers, been really digging this particular combination with the shirt and ecru denim

All change this morning. This overshirt arrived yesterday after I bought it totally on a whim looking through clearance offers. Waxed canvas with a Sherpa lining, price reduced by 80%.

I hate the current gigantic boxy fit that seems to be everywhere with overshirts, that makes everyone look like they're wearing their dad's. So I erred down on size with this and I've ended up with more of a t shirt fit.

It's Superdry again after my recent success with them, but it does suffer a little from their occasionally-stupid proportions. Slim sleeves are good, slim body is good, but the armholes are high and small and the sleeves are long. But the next size up would have annoyed me by covering my hands too much, I think.

At the last moment before heading out I threw on this Cone Mills denim shirt and then regretted it within a few minutes of walking as I was far too hot even in 10 degree weather.

Also, a bit of a departure for the trousers too. Twill jeans, but in a wide fit very unlike my usual slim choice. I blame @torfjord for this entirely, as he's the wider-trouser reference at this point. But you don't know what works until you try, and the jury's still out on these I think.

Anyway. Too many words.

Trousers look really nice! Try wearing them for a few days, you’ll discover how uncomfortable slim fit jeans are once you try to go back :).

Friends I had a horween lux horsehide jacket that I sold last year and missed. So I got another made custom designed. The universal zippers are awsome. Solid 6lb jacket thick tea core

Sears Fieldmaster. The Fieldmaster and Oakbrook label are two I try and avoid from Sears. They mark the end of the golden era HH Hercules jackets and the beginning of cost costing and inferior quality. That said, I do like this one. It’s light, stiff steerhide that exemplifies exactly what I’ve referenced above. The jacket has a nice fit though and is super easy to wear. It’s unexceptional in every way imaginable but it seems my tastes these days are leaning in that direction.

It’s remarkable in its crinklyness. Cool look.
