Goat thedi on my morning walk. Sweater from Merz B Schwanen and jeans from Bronson.
I recently got a few items from Bronson. They are surprisingly well made. I hope the way they present themselves as an honest small business and taking care of their employees is true….but as far the products go Bronson surprised me with their quality per price. They offer a lot of value for their lower prices. Things are not perfect but damn fine stuff. At least the few things I purchased.

I’m a fan of their stuff, got four pair of pants, a few T-shirts and a hoodie. Really high quality!

How do you like the sweater? Apart from their weird sizing (super-reverse vanity) I think they are extremely good value for money if compared to say Buzz Rickson or RMC.

That jacket - every time you post it, I make a detour to the Thedi-webpage...

I’ve only had it for two days, but I like it a lot. Both the fabric and the cut feels like top quality. The guy in the store told me it would shrink half a size in the first wash and I certainly hope he’s right. It’s a medium and it’s currently about half a size too big. That’s one aspect of the “we’re making clothes like in the good old days” that I don’t get. Preshrunk clothes feels like a clear improvement compared to just hoping you buy your correct size.

Right. I have a size “7” which should translate to “XL” if I am not mistaken. Same story hear with, “will shrink somewhat“…

I bought a Henley from Merz when they re-entered the game some 10+ years ago. Very expensive. Very hard to come by but already the thing with „shrink to fit“. Only it didn’t, really. Still too big.
But a very nice, nearly indestructible piece from a day when “ loopwheel“ sounded like a Gimmick you ride on Brighton Palace Pier.

I think I paid like EUR 170 for the sweater which isn’t cheap but very much ok considering it’s a small outfit with a high level of manual work involved and what seems to be a high quality product.

Bronson is great, I’m a fan. I think it’s the best value for quality I’ve ever found.
