I don't know Freewheeler's cuts very well but is the speed master their V-shaped jacket? I heard the Mulholland is more straight-shaped. I'm interested in the brand as my next possible purchase but unsure which cut works for my body which is indeed V-shaped.
@dwilson The TW San Mateo is definitely V-shaped.

I can see why you aren’t happy with the fit but I wonder whether this is how this pattern is supposed to be worn? Length and waist are spot on. If you embrace its boxiness I think you could have enjoyed it. Just a very different fit from your other leather jackets.

You may be right, but I just can't enjoy that. The shoulders are just straight up too wide for me. Otherwise it is a fantastic jacket.

Cool outfit Jake, you wear that hat really well and it suits you nicely with the longer hair.
Are those Ouderhound boots? They're very nice.

Thanks! This is a 100% beaver hat that I got from Buckaroo Hatters and recently had it modified by Wellema Hats in Socal. Cody did an amazing job with it.

Beautiful. I had a LW Trojan meant for the Japanese market. For some reason the shoulders fit wider than on his "regular" offering. I felt like you feel in it. When you size down I think you will find that the length and torso, as well as the sleeve length will fit nearly the same, with chest and shoulders trimming down more. The upper arms will be wider than what you are used to, particularly for some of his repros of MC jackets. Though I can say my J23 and LT are certainly slimmer in that area. It certainly is a stunning jacket though and you wear it well. It is my personal favorite jacket, out of everything I own, and have owned.

Yeah if those two areas could just be shrunk a bit, it would be absolutely fantastic. A 38 would probably work for me. It is indeed a great design and pattern overall.

@dudewuttheheck , it's okay but yeah, send it back.

@navetsea , throw that brown thing away. That symbol of crap times. It destroys this fantastic jacket.

I already did. So close to working.

Not yet, still 6000 detected new cases a day here with our country laidback testing measure, and living in java it is basically the only island mostly affected throughout the country.

I know this is mainly regulated towards leather jackets, but once in a while a special “non-leather” comes along that blows my mind. This is a Taylor Stitch wool long haul trucker jacket I bought about 5 years ago. I believe it to be one of the last “made in USA” jackets they released. Now their truckers are manufactured in China. I was drooling over this jacket for a long time, thinking they were sold out. I was walking thru the Mission one day and popped into the TS store on Valencia St. and, SCORE!... they had it! I’ve done tons of traveling with this jacket, it’s perfect for layering. I forgot how comfortable and well made it is, till I pulled it out of the closet today. Very chilly in the Bay Area today.

Really cool jacket. I don't think I've seen wool constructed into a type-3'ish trucker. I have an Iron Heart melton wool shirt jacket I bought back when I lived in Ohio and that thing is warm as heck. I don't think I've worn it since I moved to CA tbh.

Hell yeah! Love that jacket. I have 3 long haul jackets myself (posted it here yesterday). The cone mills denim jacket was actually made in America as well but yeah the majority of their stuff isn't made in the USA anymore.

I got to try out @tmitchell59 's Japanese market Lost Worlds Trojan jacket. This was my first time trying out a Lost Worlds jacket and it was pretty interesting. I was worried that it would be too long in the body and sleeves, but instead it was pretty OK there, but too wide in the chest and especially in the shoulders for me. The sleeves are also a little wide on me as well in the upper arms.

Otherwise, it's a pretty cool jacket and I really like the overall pattern. I think a 38 in this jacket would fit me quite well and if I could go full custom with Lost Worlds, this might be a good jacket for me. I really love the design of it. I also really loved the purple liner because that's my favorite color.

Also, don't try to convince me to keep this because it's already on its way back to Terry! As cool of a jacket as it is, it just doesn't quite fit me. For someone it would fit, this is a damn cool jacket IMO. Big thanks to Terry for letting me try this beautiful jacket out! You can tell this is a good pattern because you can see how close it looks to fitting me well despite the fact that it's clearly too big and the fact that I felt like I was swimming in it. A custom one would actually be something that I would consider if I could make that happen.
