That’s the Schott/Horween right? I just love that color. Very similar to Cordovan but somehow completely different at the same time.

Just got the Cockpit USA Award jacket in Navy/Ecru. The jacket is from soft mid-weight horsehide, feels very substantial. Liner is warm, quilted. Two internal chest pockets. I normally wear M, this is L. I will be able to layer. The artificial aging of the hide is subtle. For $158 I am thrilled. View attachment 188955 View attachment 188956

I received mine on Friday. The coating applied to the horsehide appears to age very quickly after a few outings. I agree for $158 I am thrilled as well. Because it's soft and mid weight I'm calling this one my go to Horsehide windbreaker.

Chilly weather has finally arrived in Chicago. Went to work yesterday and it was in the up 60s. Left work and it was in the low 40s. This morning's walk with the dog was 36. I love it!

Boss shearling field jacket. Lighter weight jacket perfect for this weather.

And pulled out the (ill fitting) Carhartt for some yard work today.

Hahaha I know I wore it a ton around the house when I got it but the leather Himel uses needs no break in. This sucker is still stiff as a board!

Thank you! I am considering sell my Schott and get another Aero coat, it is much more comfortable to wear than motorcycle jacket.

Moving to a new house means most of my clothes are sealed away in cardboard boxes (and no budget for new clothes which is quite a good thing after all!). This is forcing me to stick to a few items and the only leather I’ve got out is this westride goatskin hafbelt which is a pleasure to wear:
