Thanks for the inspiring response @Monitor; it made my day! This one’s for you (sunrise the day after the big storm).
Looks good. I’ve noticed the 3sixteen numbers look more modern friendly than many other type3. Pic confirms my suspicion.3sixteen Type 3 Shadow Selvedge

Perfect fit man...I never thought I'd say it but I think the HWM is my all time fav pattern from Aero. You nailed that one! Beautiful hide too. Has that mega grain that reminds me of my 50's HB. Beautiful stuff!View attachment 178222 View attachment 178223 View attachment 178214

Great pictures! Is the Empire State the ferry that runs on the East River? I am a regular on the Jersey and York between Paulus Hook and Brookfield Place (though one of them is presently out of service and has been replaced by the an Empire State-class ferry I think). I grew up messing around with boats and love to be able to take in the sights of a working harbor every day.I wore my G-1 “just in case” and I’m glad I did! The goatskin is very water resistant; just turn up the fur collar and the rain is no problemo!
Some quick pics of my late 30's Windward - I'm in awe of this jacket and it's insane level of vintage quality.

The EMPIRE STATE (and her sistership GARDEN STATE) are usually up in Weehawken doing the Midtown Manhattan route, but the ferries get switched around quite often!Great pictures!
