Took a chance on this navy blue leather jacket via the Finds and Deals thread knowing it would probably be too small at a size 36, but for minimal investment it was worth a shot:

The color is true and the collar is pretty awesome at 4.25" but it's just too small to be comfortable even unzipped. It also clocks in at just under 2-lbs so pretty much just a layering piece. Decent jacket for what it is but this one's a miss. Just posting to close the loop.

I've been enjoying the glorious UK weather by riding at every opportunity, which means I've been wearing my Richa Daytona every day. I'll snap some pics when I can to update its thread with how it looks now.

But.

The weather has edged past glorious and into 'king hot. And with tomorrow now forecast to be the hottest day ever in the UK, at 39°, I've just ordered a different riding jacket to keep me cooler. It's an Oxford Kickback: not altogether a Lounge-style jacket, but necessary for my well-being.

I wore my G-1 “just in case” and I’m glad I did! The goatskin is very water resistant; just turn up the fur collar and the rain is no problemo!;)
Great pictures! Is the Empire State the ferry that runs on the East River? I am a regular on the Jersey and York between Paulus Hook and Brookfield Place (though one of them is presently out of service and has been replaced by the an Empire State-class ferry I think). I grew up messing around with boats and love to be able to take in the sights of a working harbor every day.

The EMPIRE STATE (and her sistership GARDEN STATE) are usually up in Weehawken doing the Midtown Manhattan route, but the ferries get switched around quite often!
I’m glad to hear that you’re one of our regulars!!!:)
