I think that’s the point HD. Short jackets and low rise jeans don’t mix well imo.

Plus you’d probably get laughed at in the street here in Oz if you wore a tucked in T-shirt, it’s just not done but we do have are a very casual culture here.

There were people here who used to tuck in t-shirts and iron their jeans with a front seam. To me this is the look of a anal retentive scoutmaster or a serial killer. Or both.

Like ton, tucked in anything fills me with terror too.

All this is personal taste and age related, probably. I personally don't tuck in anything either - shirts, t-shirts, whatever. And I haven't for 40 plus years. I don't care what it looks like to some.

Personally a well fitting shirt untucked looks perfectly fine to me in almost any situation. And tucked in shirts can look awful too esp if the shirt is baggy or poorly cut and if the guy is substantially heavier than his fighting weight it just exaggerates the tummy issue.

Nothing wrong with the fit of that jacket, Gamma68. It isn't too short and you're worrying unnecessarily- an inch or two shorter and you'd be right to feel it was off, but, as far as I can see, it's fine.

More to the point, it'd look weird if longer.

Some of these raw denim creates that moose knuckle look, even pseudo one as the pant creates a pair of empty ball sacks on each side of the crotch seam even when the top block is fitted. My 21oz have that problem, my 24oz has different curve on the crotch seam not only feel better when sitting but it creates nicer folding creases while both fit exactly the same on the waist and hip, i suspect perhaps front pocket bag model and shape might contribute too as they too are usually made from hefty fabrics and perhaps is ghosting under the pants creasing together with the pants and the area near the crotch without the pocket bag becomes thinner in comparison and developing strange vertical creases, that crisscrossing with whisker making scrotum like bags.

I can tell that you're upset about this.

Johnson Leathers M-200 for Worn Out West.

How's the length? These are not low-rise jeans.

Great length if you’ll spend a lot of time in the car where the slight shortness of it will aide in stopping it from riding up. Otherwise, for that style, for my taste it is slightly too short. My satisfaction would depend on if it were spec’d new or found at a good price.

you might say “what???!! Harley Davidson?” Going from Aero, Langlitz to HD is like going back 50 years in grade, but this one has special meaning to me, the shovel head, still made in usa, this WAS the closest thing to the Terminator jacket I could imagine 15 years ago, before I had the chance to get a Schott, Legendary & wayyyy before I discovered Bates & Aero. The leather is thin & by our standard low grade, but the construction is good, lining is as good as Schott, fit is good (has its typical Harley’s long torso). The roller buckle is super heavy.

Nothing to dislike. Fantastic looking jacket. I've been wearing an Avirex cross zip that I recently acquired for the past few days and I'm absolutely in love with it. It's without a doubt the most comfortable & functional cross zip I've had.
Really old specimen, made in USA, Talon zippers.

Not exactly fit pic but it'll do...

Greetings All:
Today....thought i’d sport this vintage Cal Leathers CHP. Unusual brown i rather like, nice contrasting black Mouton collar and nice Serval zips all around. Pretty sure it used to be a cow. I do love to hear this one squeak!
Be well. Bowen
