These are wool serge USAF pants from 1949. I bought them on the bay in the US for 40$ including shipping.
You can always find such deals on these. They are so much better than any repro I’ve ever touched. And comfy as hell. But we’ll, yeah, they are grandpa pants.

Nobody puts grandpa pants in the corner, they look awesome!

Another “bomb cyclone” Nor’easter hitting the East Coast hard. Rain/snow/sleet mix with choppy seas and 50-60mph wind gusts. Got the old Navy-issue deck jacket on today.

@Flightengineer we can steer and pilot the vessel seated or standing. However when you’re “on final approach” and about to dock the vessel, we always stand up for visibility and easier manipulation of the twin engine controls and the helm (steering wheel).

Today it’s an oldie. First leather i bought with my own money. I sold a killer 69 Z28 street machine in 73’, bought this jacket, a monster Maranta stereo and joined the Marines. The Marantz is playing right now and the jacket is still kickin it imho. Boots by our Uncle Sam, Stetson on top. Not to shabby for 45 yrs. Grins!!

Not today, but yesterday was one of my Granddaughters talent show at school. I was nippy, at least for California that is, so I wore my Goodwear Leather Perry Sportswear A2. It keep me warm through the program. Now tomorrow when I go for coffee at my local coffee shop I will probably need it again.

It’s an Eastman Leather Wool A-1 with horse hide sleeves. It was one of my favourite jackets when I fell down the rabbit hole at first. Thus my user name. Now I found one on the bay for a reasonable price and I’m really happy!
