Ok.... probably gonna get despised but that's OK.

Jacket I am wearing today is a poor man version of Belstaff's Cougar model.... it's from Massimo Dutti. Got it on sale around 300 US. The eagle eyed (which I am sure all of you are here) will notice the cheaper method of production for leather jackets, i.e. two separate panels on the sleeves and body. Nevertheless, I love the fact that it's got loads of pockets and is a great utility jacket at work when I can't be bothered to carry a bag (which is most days lol). Obviously I don't need to mention the artificially aged leather, which I know many of you might not like.. nevertheless here's the pic:

@G’c with the $$$ Belstaff charge for their average quality jackets this is probably a smarter buy than an actual Cougar. This is coming from someone that got suckered in by the name and marketing and paid way too much for one of their wax cotton jackets. It’s nice by simply not worth the money I paid for it.

Enjoy your jacket, it fits well and looks good.

I grabbed this Sears jacket on ebay couple of weeks ago but found it at first a little oversized. I wanted to return it but it was so cheap and looked NOS to me so i decided to throw myself into the shower with it and it turned out not so bad after all. Of course it's sears quality, the leather is thick but show some minor defect that wouldn't pass inspection on more expensive brands i guess. The cuff and waist whatever it is called are pretty cheap compared to other jackets i own.

@Hh121 Beyond fantastic, man! Can't tell how you could possibly upgrade on this one.
@dudewuttheheck Really nice one! What's that pin??
@G'c Always loved that model, be it Belstaff or something else. It's a super convenient design that's sometimes absolutely essential. I had one, Dainese which was exactly the same and I regret selling it to this day. Man, that jacket did everything. It even had a warm, removable liner. Anyway, yours really fits much better than mine did. Perfect fit and honestly, it looks 3 times nicer and sturdier than any recent Belstaff. Really great jacket!

As for me and all the friends of crunchy blue-denim cottonpoliester, sherpa-lined, autumn/winter/early-to-late-spring/possibly-very-early-summer trucker jackets... One of those by Levi's.

Wearing my tony nowark "surrogates" jacket today. Got this from another member on filmjackets i think around two years ago... I love love love this jacket. I know others may prefer their Aeros and what not (which may be better quality), I think this is such a unique jacket as this was supposedly made custom to another customer, then on sold to a forum member, then sold to me... which somehow fits me perfectly. Also love the internal pockets it has (two on the left (one of them with zip), one on the right). Really love the thick but supple cowhide chosen.

Again sorry for the crappy selfies as it my wife would certainly roll her eyes big time if I asked her to take pics of me wearing these jackets lol. View attachment 98544 View attachment 98545

Good I don't have to point out how perfectly this fits you, because it does. Some of the best I've ever seen. Tony Nowak's work is unsurpassed and this jacket is a testament to this. Beautiful jacket, one that seems to be a tank. You're lucky to have this. Just awesome!

I think previously before Belstaff changed ownership they are nice, but I agree that they charge too much. They do have a unique quality that is distinctively "Belstaff". Not sure how they treat their leather but theirs is definitely different from other manufacturers. I used to have some belstaff jackets but only on sale or second hand. I think I have one belstaff jacket left.

It’s been some time since these were taken but I just found them, so it won’t hurt to upload them. I’m playing a small garden concert for friends, wearing a Real McCoy’s Wabash Shirt and playing my custom-made for me Oroborus guitar.

Really really like your style man. Love wabash shirts too. However, don't know why not many people make a decent quality one with a lower price..... I have a short sleeved wabash shirt from red cloud mfg. Good stuff but not as nice as the japan ones. I wholeheartedly think that a quality wabash can be made cheaper but unfortunately not many people are doing them.

Thanks for the compliments Monitor. Didn't realise Dainese made one. Are there any pics? Also do any of you here know of brands that make this style but a good quality one too? Curious to know.

Thanks again for the compliments. It's a great jacket no doubt, and the best thing is, it is a great utility jacket too since it's got many inner pockets but without looking bulky, unlike many other leather jackets of this style (of course unless you requested it to be customized). As for it being a tank.... I would leave this title to my Vanson Model -B ... that literally weighs like a TANK.

Also nice jacket you have there, although for me denim jackets never suit me somehow. Maybe one day.
