Ditto, it seems this fall was too brief for me to get my 21 oz half broken in and it got a prime spot in the rotation.
So the 23oz is a huge step from the 21oz? Man, that rig has got to be nuts. My 21oz vests are just starting to settle in after months of wear.

I can absolutely feel the difference. I’m hot blooded so as long as the wind isn’t whipping I can get along just fine with a flannel and vest under this. I will say the OD really cranks up the tightness of the denim weave, making it pretty impermeable.

LW Trojan 4 oz horse just starting to break in scored from the FL this year with Cavanagh western hat
@ john size 44, 23.5 back. I have more movement in the LW than I do in my Aero highwayman size 40 CXL horse. With enough wear, the LW horse my come to resemble my early Cal CHP. The LW horse is thicker than Aero's horse and has a slight built-in texture. In their current state, I prefer Aero horse. Looks like the back of my jacket is bunching up in the back due to leash and gloves in my back pocket. View attachment 194130 View attachment 194131 View attachment 194132
JB i have to compliment these pictures on so many different levels.
First this is a man who can wear a stellar cross zip MC style jacket and look as comfortable in it as a babe in a blanket.
He wears, no owns the jacket/look and not the other way around. And a LW 4oz at that. Not something that can be said often here where the LW beast wears the man who yield quickly and move on. Imho
I think this jacket post and many of your posts serve well how a boomer can rock the leathers in a class all it’s own not beholding to anyone. Something for many to aspire to should they patiently await the many years it takes to reach a mature icon status.
Good job JB. Thanks for sharing how to do it.
No offense intended to anyone else. Just my salutes.

Lost Worlds Buco Rider from our classifieds and then Harris tweed relined/new talon main zipper by JL. Any opinions on whether this might be “too aggressive looking” for casual use when I’m not riding? Not that I usually care but just curious on this piece of heavy hide

Just awesome! That outfit is rocking.
Ha ha, thanks barnabux. Had to throw something together to try out the 1970 Florsheim boots.

Great sheep Michael.
Coveting your anvil vise!!
B
Thanks Bowen. Definitely my heaviest sheepskin. The vice ain't much, but it and the anvil end do find some use when I'm bending some metal. i miss my forge and big 100 lb anvil.

Thanks,
Michael
