There is still a possibility that I get Ryder and sell my HB, LW's russet 4.5oz horsehide is my favorite hide, it's more appealing than black one.
I like the dense feeling of LW hide, the CXL HH is little too soft and thin for me.

You should skip the “thin” stuff and go straight to harness leather! Ohio has lots of Amish leather crafters. I’m sure they’d like to help.

Wilbur I love that part of the country where it is still a bit on the cooler side. Almost 90F in Dallas today.

Love Colorado. We stayed in Estes Park. Visited Royale Gorge...Garden of the Gods...Pikes Peak...Sky Line Drive..Colorado Springs and Denver. How do you like the Trike? A little different than two wheels.

Dead calm this morning in the harbor; morning temps in the low 50’s then climbing to the upper 70’s by late afternoon.
Opted to leave my faithful G-1 at home and go with a custom Gibson and Barnes cloth flight jacket that I’ve had for about 10 years (note the “salty” captain stripes! LOL).
