A long time ago, I used to be an oil truck driver. Christmas and summer vacations, when I was in undergraduate school, I drove a fuel delivery truck for a local distributorship. The jacket I wore in those days is long gone...it’d be too small for me, anyhow...but I recreated it, here. This is a Red Cap uniform jacket I found on eBay. It’s the same style and color and as the one I was given in 1974. I added an old Esso patch (actually, mine sported an Exxon patch), and had my name embroidered on the right chest. It’s a comfortable, lightweight jacket, perfect for spring weather. And I think it looks kinda cool. :)

Nice one. Its just started to cool down in town and I'm also wearing a Red Kap jacket; a brown, long, lined panel jacket. I hardly wear leather these days.

Aero M-422a Oil pull Horsehide. My dog looks at me wondering what the heck with this leather jacket “hobby”...
1. Fonzie, that is one swell looking M422a... Aero did a good job there. First one I've seen that actually looks really good...
2. You dog is thinking how awesome that leather would be to chew on ;)

Cheers mate, that wouldn’t surprise me one bit. She’s been on a rampage lately chewing through my kids toys and unrooting plants in the backyard.
I hope she doesn’t see my jackets as her next chewing target! [emoji33]

I’m really glad you brought this company to our attention. As I stated in my prior post I poked around their website a bit and they have a few models that interest me. I also enjoyed the Brief history of the company/owner. Name checking the greats like Langlitz and Aero. A lot of companies not only claim their stuff is the best but do so by disparaging other makers. It takes a class act to say I started my company because I was inspired by the other great makers. The Charade is really a beautiful jacket. Congrats on the purchase.

Oh my lord, I wish I had not checked this jacket out online-- check out this sweet D-Pocket by same company---

Oh I’m right there with you. I still want that Vanson HD. I want a Bootlegger from Aero and now that d pocket and @Tusche wirh that Charade. They appear to be a very well made class jacket. Which means it won’t be easy on my bank account. And they are in France meaning the shipping charges....Their prices are available upon request. Im glad they don’t have a buy now/add to cart feature. Although just for the hell of it I’m tempted to inquiry about those prices.

@JMax i took the plunge. I’m sure I overwhelmed them with questions haha. But I know we can’t be the only ones who would be interested in potentially purchasing one of their jackets. I threw out is horsehide the only hide available, is black the only color, are all sizes stock or custom, can hardware be customized, leather weight/thickness, and is it all veg tanned or chrome tanned, and lastly as a base price point on the Charade and Blouson noir deluxe as I think those would probably be the most well liked two on the forum. Fingers crossed I get an answer to at least some of my barrage of questions! If and when I do I will update TFL!

I sent request for prices on the D and charade. Will keep you posted...unless you prefer I don’t.

Edit: Saw you beat me to it. And much more thorough than I was. Tks.
