Ah got it. If it was a 44 that would be tempting. In regards to your tri jacket, I saw another post somewhere (can’t remember if it was TFL or SF) who purchased the same jacket and talked about the boxy body, so I think that is just how the fit is. The fit looks good in your pic though.
Yeah, I only saw the jacket on the owner before I ordered it, it looks great on him. but, who knows, his could've been a one-off custom, before they went into production. Like i said, the shoulders and arms fit me perfect, almost like a shirt, so I can't really layer at all. I was seriously tempted to return it, but I decided to give it a try, see if the leather softens and settles a bit. I have the J24L like yours! I'll post a pic soon!! I have a seriously problem with buying jackets... LOL!!!!!

@Jin431, you are giving @Marc mndt and @Carlos840 a run for perfect fits! I am soooo envious. :)

Watch out now! Coming through! Just kidding lol Thank you that's very kind of you, fits have been better as of late now that I've dialed my measurements! I wanted to go vintage too but it's a little hard to find sizes for me so made to order it is, I plan to have atleast one vintage though.

Ship John Ramblin Jacket Broken Twill.
I still cant make up my mind on this one. View attachment 313765
Why can't you make up you mind about the Ship John jacket? It's a nice jacket and it looks great on you! I like SJ's products; I'm just not crazy about how they treat their customers... I had plans to buy 2 jackets and a pair of boots from them, but they screwed me over on a shirt that I bought, so bye bye Ship John!

@Merv, curious to hear about your run in with Ship John. There is a dedicated Ship John thread, feel free to post there if you’d like to share it.
I think we can all benefit from hearing the good and bad about any company.

Thought I would post my Buco after I saw Hoipac post his beautiful J24 of the same ilk. Mine is the J24L which is a tad bit longer. It took me like 3 years to save and muster up the courage to buy this jacket. I purchased it from Standard and Strange, awesome bunch of people btw! Ya got to admit, those Japanese craftsmen really know their stuff. This jacket is the pinnacle of vintage repros. I still don't know how they do it... sorcery??

I completely agree, it’s definitely my favorite for a reason. Perfect fit! I really like the length on the J24L.

Looks like horse hide...eh? Reminds me of a super cool vintage horse hide jacket I had from the 40’s sold it on eBay... what a dummy I am!
Could be, but I can't say for sure since I picked this up second hand. I haven't handled enough to be able to tell, but whatever it is I dig it.

You may have some lingering regrets moving on that vintage piece but you can console yourself in your kicka** new Buco.

Thanks, man! You're crushing it as usual with your customs, and I noticed you sporting some selvedge jeans the other day. How you liking them so far?

Haha! Ya got me! I never put the fur collar on, it interferes with my helmet, but for my brothers on FL I guess I can make an exception... View attachment 313866
Super cool that you wear it while riding! Golly that is special! Can't wait to get my own D pocket with a detachable shearling collar! Thank you so much for sharing!

Thank you, I'm comfy with MTO jackets for now but I wish I can try on other brands in store so I can go try OTR sizing as well. I've only worn the indigo selvage 3x and it's only 12.5 oz so I haven't really noticed any difference . I recently received a 21oz black denim but I have to get it hemmed first but that's uncomfortable to even try on lol
