Very much enjoying everyone's contributions to this thread!

Loving the variety of your creases, Eric! The back three quarter views are delightful!

Some more bash variety;

This style is growing on me. It shows up quite often in the 1920s and older photos we see here.

Red, I feel the same way. I didn't want everything to be a diamond crease (even though it is my favorite).

It's worth noting none of the hats I've shown here are with their original crease as they came to me. I steam and iron most of them to an open crown and start fresh;

Of course sometimes the "ghost" of the hat's crease still will come through upon reshaping

I'm addicted to the diamond. I love seeing the variety of creases on your hats , Tommy. It's inspiring me to try a few of them. Thank you.

40, in truth I like any hat with a clearly hand done bash. I strive for a slightly imperfect symmetry as do many here like yourself, Moon and SBG. It's very gratifying to me that you like it and are inspired to give it a try. For me only certain wide ribbons look good with the centerdent with side pinches.

In the case of this Mallory it was a purchase from another lounger who featured it in their avatar so I felt the need to switch it up

I would never have even tried that bash on that hat, Tommy. It looks fantastic! I need to experiment.

Here is a recent attempt of mine.....bumps the thread too!!
Hat is a Premier Stratoliner, open crown, carabo.
