This a home movie of my grandfather from 1962. He was born in 1920 and died 40 years ago tomorrow. I'm curious what his little jumping gesture with the golf club was in reference to - my mother (who was 8 then) thought perhaps it was a reference to a Jackie Gleason skit, but she wasn't sure. Anyone have any idea?

It's called, "the Chaplin," after Charlie Chaplin. He would do a similar dance with his cane! Your grandfather was just Hamming it up for the camera. I think it is great.
