I am in Vogue this morning.

The prevailing fashion for today is green hued clothing and accessories. Wishing to be in Vogue I complied in headware.

Vogue implies usage accepted by those who want to be up-to-date. Honoring the green hued theme I stayed green. For another staying "Green" means I am being light on our earthly resources. (I am stretching here.) Home and sipping coffee I stayed in Vogue. Hurrah!

The only (smoky) green fedora I ever owned was embossed inside from 'The Fad' in Dickinson, North Dakota. This photo was estimated to be 1969 or so.

"The Fad was a men's clothing store, that was located at 35 Sims St., in Dickinson, N.D. The photo is of 5 salesmen who worked at the Fad. They are all wearing a shirt, tie, and **suits."

**I really like the fellow who is wearing the heck out of his sport coat and odd trousers.

I don't specifically know a ton about suit but: they seem to all have two button coat design, fairly built up shoulders, darker suits w white shirts, still have fairly thin lapels, no pocket squares, black shoes, except for the man in the plaid jacket. One stingy '60s hat on a shelf.
I think this was great time in fashion, just before the '70s crazy colors and wide poly ties and wide, wide lapels started taking over as a Fad, and a bad one. BAD ENOUGH to shut down stores like this maybe.
Any other thoughts?

Wonderful, Steve. Looks super on you, too.

Nice, light grey tones in the felt, ribbon, and brim binding. Classic bow treatment. I particularly like the way your side pinches complement the brim curve and vice-versa.

A Homburg to covet.
