Je hebt een uitstekende beheersing van het Engels
I cheated Stefan, I used an internet translator, I do hope that it doesn't contain anything that it shouldn't. Compliments from Tina, she too loves your hats. She said that you look distinguished, especially after that beard trim. Women notice things like that.
I get many a compliment for the clothes that the birthday girl has made for me, so here she is, wearing a suit of her own creation.

My latest from Northwest Hats. A blue heather from Tonak.

Birthday girls all round it would seem, my wife, Tina, celebrated her birthday on Friday (25th.) We have had a weekend of fun. It was the best way of taking our minds off the more serious things that are happening in the world at present.

Etsuko looks fabulous in her new Akubra, and you, Sir, in your Hornskov Mogul, look equally as good as your fabulous lady. Just don't look so serious, wearing such a stylish hat, you should look like you enjoy it, be proud, strut even. There you go.
Until I got the hat bug and joined the Lounge, I was always the photographer and almost never the photographee. Still not comfortable on the other side of the lens, I guess.
And my genes are such that if I’m not careful, I do this…

Thanks Randal. Ja, the ribbon is quite unique. I'd like to see that Tijuana.

It’s just a 40s Gay Prince clone.
I’ve posted it before.
Someone shared an old ad showing this hat with the Tijuana name printed on the ad but not in the hat.
Weird.

Nice Wolfbrae today!

You might get there with the Dutch language with some practice, Robert, and it has its attractions. But why should you? English is such a rich language.
More than once I have heard it said that English is the modern day Latin. It does make those of us for whom it's our mother tongue, rather lazy in learning the language of others. More so when those foreign languages don't use the Roman alphabet, the most widely used alphabetic writing system in the world.

Learning languages like those of eastern Asia or Arabia means learning syllabary, a set of written symbols used to represent the syllables of the words of a language.
